Connecting the C Infinity to a PC is remarkably straightforward—simply connect one end of a USB cable to a free USB port on your computer and the other end to the C Infinity device. The PC platform is the mainstay for C Infinity, boasting the largest library of compatible games. This selection has been dramatically expanded by the UE VR mod, which has increased the breadth of compatible games by a factor of ten.

MetaQuest Integration
Connecting the C Infinity to a MetaQuest headset involves a slightly different approach when not using a PC. Here, you would connect the C Infinity’s cable to an On-The-Go (OTG) adapter, which then plugs into the Quest’s USB-C port. While the MetaQuest platform poses no hardware compatibility issues, the availability of compatible games is more limited. Currently, only a select few games support the C Infinity, with VRChat being a significant exception where full functionality is realized.

Enhanced VR Experience with VRChat
On the MetaQuest platform, VRChat stands out by fully supporting C Infinity, thereby offering one of the most enhanced VR experiences available today. The game uniquely integrates the inputs from C Infinity with those from other devices and controllers, such as hand or motion track controllers. This allows for creative and practical gameplay applications—for instance, you might use the C Infinity with one hand for navigating motion and body orientation, while using the other hand to interact with the environment or aim in-game. Alternatively, both hands could manage motion track controllers, with the C Infinity augmenting this setup by providing smooth and intuitive rotational movements.

PlayStation Connectivity
For users of PlayStation VR, specifically the PS VR One, connecting the C Infinity requires an additional component—a third-party adapter. This adapter is necessary to translate the C Infinity’s inputs so they are recognized by either PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 consoles. It is crucial to note, however, that the C Infinity is not compatible with the newer PS VR 2 model, only with the original PlayStation VR headset.
